The Project
A Big Idea
 
Imagine that all the social betterment programs in your commmunity were focused on helping you and your family. Imagine that you could hit a single website, enter some information about yourself, your needs, your passions and your resources and come away with a list of the organizations in your community that could help meet your family's needs and a clear understanding of which organizations could best utilize your talents and abilities.
 
The Project intends to heal the United States one community at a time by optimizing the efficiency of and streamlining access to community service endeavors the nation over. Now that's a pretty tall order.  We encourage you to poke around here a bit and get an understanding of what we are trying to do and how we intend to do it.
 
Because, quite frankly: we will need a lot of help.
Part 1: Helping people find the help they need 

Everyone needs help from time to time. And there is a lot of help out there. It seems often the problem is finding the right organizations that can help us in a timely manner. That is one of the things that The Ranch Project specializes in: Matching community resources to the people who need them.
Part 2: Helping people to help others

 
Each of  us has gifts and talents, passions and resources that others could benefit from. Here at The Project, we specialize in aligning people with projects they can participate in that will enable them to help others by using the full spectrum of their abilities rather than just one or two.
Part 3: Creating organizations to fill unmet needs in the community
 
The project works daily to identify areas where a communities resources fall short of the capability and capacity to help those in need. Once a hole in the local services umbrella is identiified, The Project works to create a program or an organization to till that need.
